Give Us Your Poetry, Scribbled on Napkin Backs

Asphalt Sky is calling all poets to submit their best work. How do you know it's your best? Does it make your toes tingle, your heart race, and your teeth rattle? Send it in immediately.

Asphalt Sky only wants poetry that is concrete, literate, and thoughtful. Formal or free verse are both welcome, as long as the language sings.

* Submissions are only accepted via email at asphaltsky at gmail dot com.

* Please submit between 3-5 poems in the body of the email. No attachments will be opened, for fear of evil email viruses.

* Simultaneous submissions are happily accepted. If you strike publication gold, please email to notify.

* Payment for the use of your work is the editor's eternal gratitude, the tireless promotion of your participation in the journal, and the joy of seeing your name emblazoned upon the computer screen. Copyright reverts to the author after initial publication.

Submissions are open now through December 31, 2007. Once you submit, you will receive an email confirming your submission.

Please respect the fact that Asphalt Sky is a one-woman operation. After your confirmation email, you probably will not hear back for a little while.
